Help Us Support Apolla and Artemis

Real moment here. Sulcata tortoises are the 3rd largest land tortoise in the world. They need a lot of food, care, and space. When Christian and I adopted these two sisters we thought we would be in a much better situation to take care of them. Sadly, that is not the case.

In our current situation we only have about another year and 5 months before we need to give Apolla and Artemis to a shelter/sanctuary. There is a place that Christian found where you can sponsor a tortoise that you bring in so that the sanctuary won’t re home them. The money that we pay would go towards housing, utility usage, care, and food for these two. Christian and I have this sanctuary’s information saved if it comes down to the decision of giving Apolla and Artemis up temporarily. We love them enough to let them go.

I hesitated bringing up the question of putting Apolla and Artemis on the website because of the decision that we might one day have to make. But, since Artemis’s splash pad video got so many views on the business Instagram account, I thought we should give this idea a go. Flying by the seat of our pants, as the saying goes.

You can donate however much you want to. All the money raise on this page, as well as Apolla and Artemis’s store will go directly to helping to take care of these two majestic, if not annoying at times, sisters helping to secure a down payment on some land, and getting a swanky setup. Christian and I have lost a lot of sleep over these two sisters, wondering what comes next, and it looks like tonight is my shift as I sit here writing this description. It was 3:03 am when I started writing and it is now currently 4:11 am. Also, currently, Christian has no idea that I’m making this donation page, I hope that this page gets his support.
